Q. How does online research course work?

A. Once you enroll in one of our easy-going online courses, you will access your course through the course login page (link posted on our homepage). You will log in with your Electronic ID online course and password. If you don’t already have an online course, you will acquire one through our registration process. You can access your course from anywhere you have an Internet connection.

Q. What are the computer hardware and software requirements for online research course?

A. Our online courses require the following hardware and system software:

Q. How is an online course scheduled?

A. If the course has been offered online before, professional teams simply schedule a section in the same way they schedule other online sections.

Q. What is the minimum computer skills required?

A. Each student must be able to:

  1. Navigate the Internet with a web browser.
  2. Use email and send attachments proficiently.
  3. Download and install plug-ins.
  4. Create files and folders.
  5. Use a word processing program: Microsoft Word is strongly recommended.
  6. Save word processing documents as Rich Text Format (.rtf)./ (.pdf) or (.doc/.docx)

Q. How do online courses work?

A. Once you begin your course online, you will find that through the help of the course site tools, you will be able to navigate within the course site. You will be able to Procedure through the Web site to post/read assignments and to download/upload files from our instructor. Your enquiry will primarily be contacting you by email or in your login account panel.

Q. What is the attendance policy for an online course?

A. Attendance in an online course is defined submission within the written assignments. This standard determines all attendance issues.

Q. Are lectures available online?

A. Lectures are not always available as audio or visual. Some instructor are available and they provides a PowerPoint or word document. Students log into their account, and can click on any of their course sites. Once a candidate is in their course site, they can access lectures, PowerPoint’s, documents, videos, links, discussion boards and the assignments section where completed assignments are submitted.

Q. How do I interact with the professor?

Students interact with their professor via different ways. First, the online class is created and explained through the instructor’s and gives lecture information. Then, students discuss topics and queries in the discussion board, where their professor and peers team provides insight, guidance and feedback. Students and the instructor also communicate through assignment correspondence within the course site or via email.

Q. What are assignments like?

A. They are most similar to on-campus assignments and require reading the book, completing questions, writing papers, reviewing other materials and research.

Q. What is a typical schedule for an online class?

A. Each course is 3 months long duration. Students typically have several due dates for completing assignments, projects. For posting queries response the due date is minimum a week where they post a response to a question or assignment and then later respond to other students posts.

Q. How are online classes graded?

A. Online courses are graded like classroom courses. Students leave the course with an understanding of the subject and an ability to apply their knowledge in a real-world. Standard assignments include reading the course materials, active participation in online discussions, writing papers etc. The grading system of marking is available in the website.

Q. Are tests available online?

A. Yes. Students may sign an ethical agreement saying they will not copy or share their exam, and that the person taking the test is the person registered for the course. Tests may be timed, and do not typically allow for open-book responses.

Q. Can I start online classes at anytime?

A. Students can start classes anytime during any session.

Q. What if I have technical difficulties?

A. The student help desk is available to address technical problems that students may encounter with online course. The web-based instruction system is compatible with computers, students may need to save documents and presentations in formats compatible with the current Microsoft Office Suite for the PC.

Q. If I don’t have internet access, can I still enroll in classes?

A. To take online classes you must have internet access, whether in your home or a public place like a public library or cyber cafe.

Q. Who do I contact if I can’t login?

A. For students if login problem occurred or login successfully but can’t find your course, please contact the technical support number or e-mail provided in the website. Remember you will find details about logging into your systems .

Q. How do I get my textbook and homework materials?

A. Please see your Orientation syllabus to find what materials are required. Online research courses provide free access to materials. If you requires extra reference materials like book, video etc it also provides in our courses.

Q. Who do I talk to about my assignments and grades?

Q. Who created the course?

A. The Online Course was created by LBP family Research group with input from a distinguished advisory group consisting of professionals on the campus with expertise in the areas covered by the course.

Q. Can I submit my work whenever I am ready?

A. Yes: Online courses have monthly schedules and due dates for readings, postings, and tests. Instructor will let you know what to do each month or week and you will have to submit work on a regular, weekly basis, just like a class held on campus.

Q. Where do courses take place?

A. For the most part, courses take place wherever your computer is: at home, at work, on the road - anywhere you can connect to the Internet. To verify that a particular class is fully online.

Q. When does my class meet?

Online courses are usually conducted "asynchronously". This means that you do not have to be lectures at a set time of day. You can log into the system whenever it is convenient for you, at any time, day or night, to retrieve and/or send course assignments, tutorials.

Q. I've never taken an online course before. How does it work?

  • Our online programs and courses are developed and offered completely through the Internet in an asynchronous format. This asynchronous format means students can access the course seven days a week, 24 hours a day, including holidays.
  • Some courses have online "lectures" (in text format) within the course site,extra information related to the specific course is also provided by us. Discussion and interactivity in the form of student-to-student and instructor-to-students are key components of all our online courses.

Q. What is the advantage to taking an online course?

  • Many of our students site convenience as the greatest advantage to taking an online course. Whether you are juggling career, family, and academic obligations, or just want to add an extra course to your current course schedule, an online course provides the flexibility to fulfill course requirements as your schedule permits.

These multiclass offerings are designed to allow you to expand your expertise in a specific subject. They are comprised of required courses that cover the fundamentals of your area of interest, as well as electives that focus on more granular topics of specialization.
